Join me, with simultaneous translation, at Adaptation Radicale - Tuesday 18 November
The French branch of 'Deep Adaptation' is opening their membership meeting to English-speakers, with simultaneous translation in English. The topic is "Networks of Mutual Aid," as conceived by Pablo Servigne.
We are connecting across barriers of language and culture to forge a global alliance of collapse-aware groups acting in service to the world.
Join me at this meeting of Adaptation Radicale, the French branch of Deep Adaptation, to listen and to offer testimonials of mutual-aid networks in action in our communities. Learn how our French colleagues think about collapse!
You can listen in English while the speakers speak in French! We are bringing in live translators who will be available on a special channel in Zoom's interpretation interface. It is a grand experiment which we hope will open new frontiers in understanding and cooperation!

The agenda includes presentations about mutual-aid projects currently underway in France, and about a knowledge-base being developed by Adaptation Radicale. I have been invited to speak briefly about the Preparedness Support Group, which is Collapse Club's effort to help our members build strength at home.
Members of Adaptation Radicale will share testimonials about their work in mutual aid. There will be an opportunity for English-speakers to share testimonials! Please consider joining this experiment in cross-cultural communication by sharing your story of mutual aid in your community. This meeting is a follow-up to a seminar with Pablo Servigne about his new book "The Storm Network: A Manifesto for Popular Mutual Aid."
We translated Servigne's remarks at the seminar into English. This meeting will make a lot more sense if you absorb his thinking in advance. Please take a look!
